Educational Program

Play is a dynamic means which encourages young children to extend their knowledge of the world and one another. Garderie Éducative Montpellier’s program “Meeting Children’s Need’s” offers a variety of materials and experiences planned according to the children’s interests to stimulate learning through play.

Classrooms are divided by age group and foster flexibility for small and large group activities. Throughout the year, children enjoy outdoor time (weather permitting) in our individual classroom yards that allow planned activities in an outdoor setting.
We also offer a bilingual program with French and English speaking teachers to help enrich the children’s language skills.

Our new approach inspired from Rudolf Steiner; every subject is taught artistically, using movement, drawing, painting, music, storytelling, teachers bring the material to life…
A movement program that is solidly based on the developmental needs. At Garderie Educative Montpellier, kids love trying fresh bread they made.

  Supporting Children’s Development

Our daycare promotes cognitive, lingual, physical, social and emotional development in a variety of ways. Educators are consistently determining the needs and abilities of each child. Daily activities are planned based according to specific interests and are designed to stimulate and enhance the children’s development. Educators regularly evaluate the children using the developmental milestones available in Quebec’s Educational Program, “Meeting Children’s Needs.” Staff also support our families by providing professional services.
